TNO: Tweens' Night Out

We're so excited to introduce our new Friday night series for girls called TNO: Tweens' Night Out. Throughout the year, we'll be hosting special Friday night fun for tweens (grades 4th-6th) to hang out, have fun and explore a juicy topic.
TNO: Tweens' Night Out Beauty Bash
Our first Beauty Bash was a smash! So we're doing it again...Let's bash on beauty! Are you beautiful? Wish you were? Think you know what beauty's all about? Let's take beauty apart and put it together our own way. We'll start off with a pizza party, then take a whimsical tour of the "beauty museum." Then we'll become fashion designers and sketch our own fabulous fashion line. Finally, we'll discover the magic of real, inner beauty in a special ceremony. This is a not-to-miss night of friendship, creativity and a touch of mystical magic as we reveal how astonishingly beautiful we all are!

Tween Tribe Introduction
Tween Tribe is an ongoing girl group where girls learn to conquer cliques, create community and celebrate themselves through original stories, creative arts, performance, dance, movement and meaningful conversations.
This year, we're offering two levels of Tribes.
Tween Tribe: Wisdom Sisters
In a year
of magical journeys, Wisdom Sisters discover their inner wisdom and learn to stand their ground, use their head and listen to their heart. The girls create wonderful arts and crafts projects, write their own plays and discover the joy of knowing their own inner wisdom.
Tween Tribe: Soul Sisters
Our oldest girls discover how to be playground peace-makers, create positive, nurturing friendships and steer clear of the toxic Queen Bee cliques that start to swirl around them. Girls learn wisdom tricks, create ojbects to help them center and calm themselves and write their own stories and plays.
All Tribe curriculums deliver social and emotional education through original stories, arts projects, dance and movement instruction, creative writing, improvisational theater and meaningful conversation. Girls will learn tools for life, be better equipped to handle social situations and learn to be good friends to themselves. Tribe tuition also includes a free MyTribe account for your daughter, an online site for private emailing and sharing just for Tribe girls.

NOTE: All our Tribes have girls from various towns in them. You do not need to register your daughter in a Tribe that meets in your hometown.

Tween Beat Dance Class
A unique dance class for elementary-aged girls. The girls learn hip-hop, street dance, Broadway style and Latin in an atmosphere of friendship and fun. Becky Barsalou is an amazing dance teacher with years of professional choreography experience. Her unique combination of skills inspires fun, fitness, empowerment, friendship and creativity all at once. The girls design their own costumes out of clothes from home and end the year with a performance party. If you want dance with out stress or shame this is the class.
