Meet the Tween Tribe
Sister Shrug: This Tween Tribe teacher is not quite like any other teacher. She has a Texas twang, a smile as wide as the Mississippi and a touch of magic in her.
Wendy Whiner: Wendy often finds herself feeling like she just can't do it--whatever it is! So, she whines.
Beatrice Bossy: Tall, tough and not afraid to speak her mind, she's Wendy's best friend.
Nelly Know-It All: She speaks Spanish at home, English and school, and is the smartest kid in her class.
Shenika Shy: She just moved to Normanville, and would rather hide in a bathroom than go to a meeting with a bunch of girls.
Suki Space-Out: Her parents are from Japan and believe in eating healthy, no TV and not many toys. Suki's smart, but often drifts away into her own imaginery world.
Olive Oddball: Olive is home-schooled. She's comfortable with adults, but nervous around kids her own age.
Polly Perfect: Polly is Olive's next-door neighbor and best friend. Polly goes to a private school and has a room filled with every cool toy, from American Girl dolls to iPods.
Grave Maeve: Creative and moody, Grave has an older step-brother and a baby half-sister. She lives with her mother and step-dad and often feels like a stranger in a strange land.
Gabby Way: Talkative and bubbly, Gabby gets on well with lots of girls but often battles with her mother, Maya.
Jasmina Jokester: Her parents are from India and believe in traditional culture, but Jasmina loves all things American and can turn any situation into a side-splitting joke!
Tween Tribe Stories
Each month, our Tween Tribe girls hear an original story, written by The Tween Scene LLC leaders Sarah Suatoni and Macdara MacColl. The stories follow the adventures of a bunch of girls who are part of an afterschool group called Tween Tribe (hey, that sounds familiar!)
